The JURY'S SPECIAL PRIZE was awarded to SEBASTIANO MONDADORI for Family Truths. Rewriting the story of Alberto Mondadori (La Nave di Teseo).
A biography that becomes a memoir in its fidelity to the past through unpublished letters, photos, anecdotes and memories collected over the years.
Alberto is the eldest son, the intellectual son and poet, the designated heir who will never take the place of his father, Arnoldo Mondadori. "Crazy with ideas and fond of the impossible", Alberto Mondadori did everything he could to escape his destiny as a publisher, perhaps not realising what a great publisher he had become in the meantime: first at Mondadori, alongside his father, and then, since 1958, at Saggiatore.
In search of this lost greatness, Sebastiano Mondadori retraces his grandfather's story.
