Sabrina is eighteen years old, with a painful history behind her, and a clear will to make it. She is left alone in the world, but after having taken so much from her, life finally seems to want to compensate her. She has recently been hired as an author at the legendary Desire: a dream company that, to the sound of smiles and healthy realism, promises its customers to fulfil any wish. Sabrina is proud of her new job and the fairy tales she writes for young web readers. But everywhere, under the skin of that perfect world, contradictions press in: the advertisements that punctuate her fairy tales, the pages of heinous violence on the Desire website, the ease with which the company gets rid of those who are less young and in step with the times. And even real life, outside Desire's gilded tower, is harder than it looks. To open her eyes, which she has kept stubbornly closed for years, Sabrina will need an unexpected and fatal encounter.
