Iaia Caputo was born in Naples and lives in Milan, where she teaches Creative Writing and Autobiographical Writing. She holds courses at the Holden school in Turin and workshops in several cities. Writer and editor, she is the author of the essays Mai devi dire (1997), Di cosa parlano le donne quando parlano d'amore (2001), Il silenzio degli uomini (2010), the novels Dimmi ancora una parola (2006), Era mia madre (2016), La versione di Eva (2022), and the memoir Il gusto di una vita (2020).
