Carlo Verdelli has been the editor of la Repubblica. He has been the first editorial director for the information offer in the history of Rai, the national broadcasting company. He was deputy editor of Epoca and of Corriere della Sera, he directed Sette, Vanity Fair and Gazzetta dello Sport.

He published I sogni belli non si ricordano (Garzanti, 2014), Roma non perdona (2019). His most recent book is Acido (Feltrinelli, 2021).
