Antonio Castaldo

A graduate in Literature from the Federico II University in Naples, from 2000 to 2006 he worked for Corriere del Mezzogiorno in Naples and Bari as a judicial reporter, and then until 2022 at Corriere della Sera covering news. For the newspaper's website, he edited the specials 'Mafiopoli', 'Mani Pulite 20 anni dopo', 'Tesoro dei Clan', on assets confiscated from the Mafia, and 'Eroina-Italia', on the return of heroin on Italian streets. He has also collaborated on Dataroom, Milena Gabanelli's datajournalism column. He is the author of numerous video investigations that he shoots and edits independently. In 2009 he published the investigative essay on the university world Un Paese di Baroni for Chiarelettere. In 2021 he made the documentary "Ladro di Libri" for Sky Arte as author and director. He also edited the series of mini documentaries "GrandItaliani" for CorriereTv and participated as co-author in the Sky documentary "Piazza Fontana, the funeral that saved democracy".

He currently directs the science popularisation website FL of the Leonardo Foundation.
