Elvira Mujčić was born in 1980 in Yugoslavia, now a Bosnian naturalised Italian. A graduate in foreign languages and literature, she is a writer and literary translator. 
Her latest publications include La lingua di Ana, Dieci prugne ai fascisti, Consigli per essere un bravo immigrato, Da grande voglio imitare Giano in the magazine Sotto il Vulcano and La buona condotta.
She is a translator of well-known authors from former Yugoslavia such as Slavenka Drakulić, Faruk Šehić and Robert Perišić.
For Rai Radio3 she hosts Pagina3 Internazionale.
For Scuola Holden, she acts as a mentor in translation for the CELA (Connecting Emerging Literary Artists) project.
